Dear friends:

The Embassy of Chile and the Embassy of Ecuador are pleased to invite you to the seminar “Pablo Neruda’s Passion for Ecuador: A Meeting of Hearts and Minds”

In this presentation, Adam Feinstein, the acclaimed biographer and translator of Pablo Neruda, will tell the fascinating story of the Chilean Nobel Prize-winning poet's relationship with Ecuador. This passion was conducted through his friendships with the leading Ecuadorian artists and writers, including the painter, Oswaldo Guayasamín, and the poets Jorge Carrera Andrade and Jorge Enrique Adoum. Feinstein's talk will be interspersed with readings from the poetry of Carrera Andrade and Adoum in both the original Spanish and in Feinstein's own English translations.

All are welcome but RSVP is essential: Click here to RSVP

We hope that you will be able to attend.
