This week, we celebrated the Society’s 80th Anniversary. H.E. Ambassador Ximena Fuentes generously hosted the event at her residence. Our Chairman Fiona Clouder said a few words to thank the ambassador for her hospitality.
The highlight of the soirée was a performance by Chilean soprano Isabela Díaz, currently at the Royal Opera House, who sang arias from Puccini and Massenet.
Members enjoyed 'Diablo' wines courtesy of Concha y Toro, along with a selection of fine Chilean dishes.
We would very much like to thank our members for being part of the Society and helping us achieve our goal of strengthening the bonds between Chile and the United Kingdom.
