On the 20th of September, members of the Anglo Chilean Society enjoyed a wonderful evening hosted by David Forth Chairman of the Canning Club.
Members had a rare opportunity to enjoy the beautiful Canning Room with its famous map of Latin America behind the bar. The Canning Club Chairman explained a little of the history of the club before conducting a tour of the premises. It was a privilege to have this rare insight into one of Britain's historic clubs.
