Once again, the Anglo Chilean Society through AME, is supporting London Design Biennale 2023!

Chile returns to London Design Biennale in June with Borrowed Matter / Materia Prestada, a multi-sensory installation that invites to reflect on Chile’s timber industry, highlighting novel ways of working with biomaterials.


Featuring handmade textile pieces, the installation demonstrates the versatility of cellulose – a naturally sourced, biodegradable and renewable biopolymer sourced from wood – as well as showcasing traditional weaving practices.


Designed by Sofia Guridi and curated by Juan Pablo Vergara.
