WILDFIRES APPEAL
LET'S TRANSFORM ADVERSITY INTO SOLIDARITY
In February 2024 the Valparaíso region of Chile was hit by devastating wildfires which represent the country´s worst natural disaster since the earthquake in 2010. According to preliminary figures, the fires have left a death toll of 135 persons with 3 still missing, and resulted in thousands being displaced from their destroyed or damaged homes.
